Pain management
Women’s Health
I believe my role as a practitioner is to assist my patients in discovering and maximizing their own innate ability to heal using a variety of modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle advice, acupressure, Shiatsu massage, infra-red heat therapy and breathing techniques. Using these modalities, alongside any other western medical treatments you may be receiving, we can create a treatment plan tailored to the needs of each individual to help many common conditions including:

* Acute & Chronic Pain (migraines/headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, elbow pain, hip pain, knee pain, ankle pain, muscle pain, sprains and strains, fibromyalgia, arthritis)
* Injuries from Motor Vehicle Accidents
* Women’s Health (menstrual pain or irregularity, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, morning sickness, pregnancy support, menopausal complaints such as hot flashes and night sweats)
* Respiratory Problems (asthma, allergies, coughs, colds)
* Digestive Problems (acid reflux/GERD, constipation, diarrhea, IBS)
* Urinary Problems (urinary tract infections, interstitial cystitis/overactive bladder)
* Autoimmune conditions
* Stress related and mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, insomnia)

When I am not helping patients, I enjoy gardening, spending time in the beauty and stillness of nature, studying and practicing the spiritual discipline of mindfulness, and taking time out to appreciate and participate in various creative endeavors.  I love doing arts and crafts such as jewelry making and sewing, singing and composing music for the Portland Threshold Choir, and enjoying dance and theater performances when I can.
