Rebecca's journey began when she was 9 watching her mother get Acupuncture from the founder of ACTCM in San Francisco, Dr. Yat Ki Lai, in the 80's when her mother was very ill. Then, in her 20's Rebecca had a life changing experience with Acupuncture and Chinese medicine herself which helped to spark a lifelong interest in alternative medicine and Chinese Culture. After studying Chinese Language and East Asian Studies at Lewis & Clark College and determining that international business was NOT, after all, her preferred path to happiness in life the "aha" moment came and she turned her eyes to Acupuncture as career, as a path to joy and meaningful service.
